ADS has expertise and several years of experience in the Education Data Systems marketplace.  Working on several Teacher Certification/Licensure systems, ADS has gained valuable insight into the nuances of the Licensure requirements from state to state. 

Illinois has recognized ADS as an industry leader by awarding three long term contracts for the support, maintenance, and improvement of their Educator Data systems.  Currently, ADS staff are responsible for the day to day maintenance and enhancement of the Employment Information System and the Educator Licensure Information System for the Illinois State Board of Education.

Prior ADS staff experience includes full implementation and ongoing maintenance of the eCert Teacher Certification system for the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction in Washington State.  This system integrated with NASDTEC, NBPTS, Pearson Testing, and multiple existing internal data systems to facilitate the evaluation and issuance of educator applications for teaching certificates.  After successful implementation that comprised the replacement of an existing “home grown” system, ADS staff were contracted to provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements.

Additionally, ADS staff has experience in maintaining similar systems for the New Hampshire Department of Education and Montana’s Office of Public Instruction.
